Reba McEntire discussed the tragic plane crash that took the lives of her band and crew in 1991 on Oprah’s OWN Network. The video does last a few minutes but is very emotional and the last minute is so important for all of us to do!
Cherish Every Day
In 1991, eight members of country singer Reba McEntire’s band and crew were killed in an airplane crash. Even though 20 years have passed, Reba shares why she’s still emotional about the accident and why it’s important to act like this day could be your last.
Jerrod Niemann, his friends, father and uncle are all safe after his tour bus caught fire late Tuesday.
After performing for Heart Strings for Hope, a benefit for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, in downtown Chattanooga, the group was about to leave town when the incident happened.
“We’re in there and Jon [Stone] comes over and says ‘Your bus is on fire.” Niemann recounts. “And I’m like ‘Dude, your gun’s shot. Our bus is not on fire.’ I thought it was the heater. So I went to the thermostat and it says “Auto Cool”. So Lee [Brice] get’s off the bus and is like “Dude, that’s black smoke. Your bus is on fire”
Although superstar Taylor Swift has her hands full with a very successful music career — be it grabbing Grammys or working on a song for the “Hunger Games” soundtrack, don’t rule her out for a full-fledged crossover into acting.
Swift recently went from recording songs to sound effects when she took on the role of Audrey in “The Lorax.”
Hello,
Hope life is treating you well. I’ve been busy since our Country Radio Seminar finished. Started working on my taxes which is always fun but I’m almost done with them already which is cool.
Crazy thing happened the other night. I was at a charity Boxing match here in Nashville. We were talking about this business and how long we’ve been doing it. I pulled up a couple of pictures of me from when I was a kid and one of the pics was of me and Tiffany (I Think We’re Alone Now) and my friend goes Tiffany is standing behind you. Showed her the pic and we took an updated one too.
Hey there,
Last night went to the Nashville Lifestyles Magazine “Single In The City” party at a place called Sambuca here in Nashville. It was so much fun. Really have to thank Nashville Lifestyles Magazine for asking me to be in the issue. I’m sure they have a lot of pictures and video, I’ll try to share as soon as I see them. One thing I learned. Instead of a “Wingman” take a “WingWoman”. My friend Casey wanted to go so she went with me. If there was someone I wanted to talk to she was like I got this. She walked up and said “Where did you get those earrings?” then moved me into the conversation. Now the drawback is she has my sense of humor and several times when I’d be talking to someone she’d walk up and go “Honey let’s go, the baby keeps kicking”. It was a great time though.
We announce our first artist Monday for the Tony and Kris Country Cruise. Very excited. The artist is very cool and very talented. It’ll be fun to hang and party on the ship. Don’t miss the announcement and updates here at www.tonyandkris.com
We have added another station! We should have the official announcement in the next week. It’s very cool to be growing at the pace we are. Tony and I (many others too, JP, Andy, Paul, Sue, Dan, Steven) have worked so hard to make this happen. We appreciate you all for helping us with our dream.
There’s nothing really new about a cute kid hilariously explaining where babies come from, but we loved this little girl’s primer on the process all the same.
Perhaps it’s her emphasis on the knot and bath aspects of reproduction so often overlooked by other scholars. She also is careful to point out that babies can come from a few different places, not just your tummy.
Let’s face it, kids today know what’s up.
