T-Time – Memorial Day and Patriotism

In the course of my lifetime there have been 5 wars and 3 interventions. When I stop to think of the number of our men and women that have lost their lives, my mind just can’t comprehend it. Think of the number of men and women that have lost their lives just during the Middle East conflicts. Our men and women fight for the ideal of freedom for all people because that’s what we experience here and what first settlers wanted when they created the Colonies. But do we, as a country, still have the same level of patriotism that our ancestors did?
