We did a post on Facebook the other day about your first concert & it got me thinking about seeing live shows. My first concert was Van Halen in 1984. It was over 30 years ago & I still have vivid memories from the night: The banter from David Lee Roth, the smoke so thick I couldn’t see the other side of the auditorium, the shouting along to our favorite songs with my 2 best friends. That’s the impact a live show can have. My oldest daughter just spent $200 on 2 tickets to see Taylor Swift in Nashville later this year. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen her so excited. If you’ve never invested the time or money to see a big, live show, I implore you to do it. There really isn’t any experience quite like getting together with 20,000 like-minded fans to spend a night with your favorite singer.
