TK1 Blogger Tina – 7 Minutes In Heaven
7 minutes in heaven…
When you read of this do you think of a childhood game? Well, I wasn’t quite thinking that. I was
thinking the top seven people I would like to spend a day with and how I would like to spend it. They
could be famous, family, someone who passed…anyone. Below is my list and what I would like to do for
the day.
1. My Mema
She was an amazing women. During her life time she lost her parents, one of her
daughters, two brothers and two loves of her life. She has endured a lot in her time; she
became ill with bladder cancer in March of 2010 and passed away in July of 2010.
During her time of illness we used to sit and have tea and just talk. Things I never
thought I would talk to my Mema about but we did, friendships, childhood, love,
relationships, everything was on the table. During this time is when I learned the most
about her. I remember thinking I should be writing this down but I remember those
conversations to a T. I miss her daily.
2. Kelly Clarkson
Well she just seems plain fun! She just seems like a good person and would make a
really cool friend. Not sure what we would do perhaps something simple like pedicures.
3. Tim Thomas
Need I say more? A Stanley Cup Winning hockey goalie! Thomas has received many
awards in the recent past, 2011 MVP for the Stanley Cup playoffs, and the oldest player
(age 37) to win the Stanley Cup, although he has chosen not to participate in the 12-13
season and will be missed for one day I would like to spend time where he is at his
best…the net! Who wouldn’t want to spend time on the ice with one of the greatest
known goalies, not that I can really skate but hey I’m sure if anyone can teach me it’s
him! Perhaps we could share some Lucky Charms out of the cup!
4. Chris Young
This young man has a lot on his plate and going for him right now! I first started
listening to Chris in Feb. 2011, so I am not one of the original fans (Nashville Star days)
but I have seen him grow as a singer, writer, and person over the last year or so. I have
met him 4 times in the last year and he is the most humble, sweetest, and nicest guys!
His music is by far some of the most honest and classic country there is. He doesn’t need
the fancy lights; he could just stand there and sing. And, honestly that is how I like it the
most, just his voice and a guitar. His current track record says it all, 5 number ones!
Who does that anymore? And let’s not forget the signature point. I could go on and on
but I guess I’ll tell you what I want to do for the day, hang out. Living in upstate NY we
have great wine-I would love to take him on a wine tour and then perhaps a good old
bonfire and just hang out. Nothing crazy just a nice summer night-ok maybe a little
fishing too (since he is so fond of it).
5. Anderson Cooper
Besides being one of the most handsome white haired men I know, well other than my
dad, he is awesome. I love his news reporting, show, and his personality. I would to
spend the day on assignment with him. See what makes him tick and how he goes after
a story, and not to mention those crystal blue eyes.
6. The one and only AWESOME Kris and Tony too!
I would like to see what is like to be a radio host. I am not the most outspoken person
so this thought is slightly horrifying for me but it would be really cool to be a fly on the
way and check things out. See the ins and outs; movements; etc. of a daily show. And
who else is a better fit than our own T and K? I didn’t think so! Is my invitation in the
mail??
7. Ellen
Oh Ellen. I first started watching Ellen when I was pregnant with my son 4 years ago. I
love her, she puts a smile on my face every single show. No matter what she does it
makes me laugh, I admire her for the causes she stands behind, and her willingness to
be open about who she is. If I had one day with Ellen I would want to just follow her
around, sounds a little unadventurous, but someone I think it would spin into one!

There you have it folks…my list of seven. Some may have surprised you some not, but we can all think
about it right? Who would make your list?
Til next time.

Tina,
Awesome! I think everyone would be proud and flattered to make your list. Great job! However, one minute with any one of them is certainly not enough!
