Producer Heather here. I was lucky enough to attend Keith Urban’s ‘All For The Hall’ benefit concert last night. All I can say to sum it up is WOW!! Keith opened up the show by playing a couple of his hits then after a short intermission, the stars came out. Vince Gill took the stage first, Predators jersey and all. Martina came up next. We all know the girl can sing but I kid you not, my jaw dropped when she sang “A Broken Wing.” Talk about some pipes! The night continued with Miranda singing her hit “The House That Built Me” and then did an awesome version of Merle Haggard’s “The Bottle Let Me Down.” I’ve never seen Billy Currington live but I have to say, he really impressed me. He, with Vince Gill and Keith Urban doing backups, sang “Must Be Doing Something Right.” Needless to say the girls in the front row just about lost it. That was all said and good but it was when he went to sing Kenny Rogers, “Sweet Music Man,” the lights went down it was just him and a spotlight. Dang. I was memorized! Alan Jackson sang his classic hit “Chattahoochee,” Alison Krauss had everyone wiping tears away with “I Know Who Hold My Hand” and Charlie Pride made an appearance and sang Conway Twitty’s “Hello Darling.” Dolly Parton closed the show and that girl is just a riot! She had the whole audience in the palm of her hand after a little flirting with both Vince and Keith she sang “Jolene” and the George Jones classic, “He Stopped Loving Her Today.”
I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed the show. It was just one power hitter after another and I’m so glad I got to attend!
