How you doing? I'm doing great. I had a great weekend, A little sore as I kicked up my cardio since I'm only about 6 pounds away from my goal weight. This weekend, people from all over the south were here in Nashville for the Basketball tourney. I have not seen it this crowded since the Country Music Festival. Friday night, got crazy. Saturday was a little chill but a lot of fun at a couple of clubs as a group of us just kind of bar hopped all day. Sunday a friend and I started watching Celebrity Apprentice and it looks really good this year. After the first episode I think the Ladies are in trouble, they did not work well together and the guys seem to all work well together and were able to stay focussd on the job task. BTW, what is this world coming to when Sunday I was picking up some things for dinner at the grocery store and I run into Jamey Johnson. The two of us being in a healthy section of the store and not a liquor store was just weird. LOL. He said he'd come in on the show real soon. You should check out his song "In Color" if you get the chance. Another song I like right now is by John Hiatt called "The Open Road". Peter Graves died. Loved him in Airplane an all time great movie. Speaking of movies, the people that made Arrested Development are making a Gilligan's Island Movie with Michael Cerra as Gilligan. That should be hilarious. Gotta run but will check in again later this week.

It's me again. Have you checked out the Zac Brown Band's new video "Highway 20 Drive".. Wow, that's one of those songs that gives you chills and the video really moved me. Made me realize how glad I am that I never had kids when I was married. It would have killed me to not spend every moment with my child. I really feel for those that have to "share" their kids. By the way, the end of the video has a really cool little twist. Going to Lady A at the Ryman this Thursday and a little after party that should be very cool. You know someone reminded me of a story from the convention we went to a few weeks ago that is just CRAZY. I guess a guy, who was married like a month ago picked up a girl at the bar in the hotel and took her to his room. His wife shows up beating on the door he shoves the girl into the space between the suites (double doors with about 8 inches between the two) and the wife comes in and finds nobody there. They leave-LEAVING THE GIRL between the doors. She calls the cops from her cell and the cops come get her, he's arrested for kidnapping and a few other charges. CRAZY idiot. Danny Gokey was on the show and his cd is FLYING off the shelves. Great positive message with "My best days are Ahead of me" and to give you an idea of how many he sold. The most for a debut country artist since Billy Ray Cyrus. We were asked by an industry magazine 10 questions about us, our career so far and our new show. It's kind of cool so many people in the industry are being kind to us. Saw a kid flip his truck twice yesterday, almost hit me. Lot of car accidents around here, Tony and I almost hit a deer and a raccoon on the way into work the other morning. Have you noticed that my blogs are like a Larry King article, kind of all over the place. That's what it's like to be in my head, all the time going in a bunch of different directions. LOL. Last couple of things. We have a new web design going up in the next two to three weeks that we think you will LOVE. Gary Allan has a new cd out that is as usual awesome, look for a few major announcements from Tony and I in the next month.See ya.

What a weekend. Tony and I left the show Friday and boarded a bus
and was taken to a great dinner and to the Miranda/Paisley show. They
both were super nice as always and said they will be on the show soon.
Brad fell off the stage in S.C., he was pretty bruised up
and the video is up on our page. It was beautiful here in Nashville
this weekend and a lot of cars with the top down rolling around.
Oscars were good and predictable. Except for Hurt Locker winning. Had
Blake Shelton in this morning and he is a hoot. Whenever we have Trace
on he complains about how "touchy and feely" Blake is. He's no
different with us. A tad uncomfortable. LOL. Really do have
to ask again that if you want us on in your city, call the GM of the
radio station you listen to and let them know. We hope to be expanding
a lot soon. Have a great day and we will update more here throughout
the week. I'll do another blog midweek.

The young ladies took the stage after the drama of Crystal Bowersox going to the hospital Tuesday. Here's my play-by-play:
Crystal may have been in the hospital the day before, but you'd never know it by watching her sing CCR. Amazing voice, great on stage. She seems like the new Jewel.
Haeley Vaughn sang "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. Not good. Very pitchy. Time for her to pack up and get ready to go home.
Lacey Brown sang "Kiss Me" & it was worlds better than last week. She's still not a super-strong singer, but she's so darn cute & fun, it could extend her life one more week. She's on thin ice though.
Katie Stevens sang "Put Your Records On" & she sounded great. She has such a nice, warm, adult voice to be only 17. She's really polished on stage. Unfortunately, that adult sound is hurting her with the judges. It won't hurt her with America. She's safe.
Didi Benami picked a Bill Withers song. The most tired, overplayed song in his catalog, "Lean On Me." She had some pitch issues, but there's something about her I like. She has an interesting voice. She's another that could be in trouble, based on last night.
Michelle Delamor made a song choice that left me a little vexed. Creed's "With Arms Wide Open." I like her. She's pretty, has a nice voice & a lot of personality on stage, but this performance was boring for me.
Lilly Scott took on a Sam Cooke classic & did it complete justice. She is so cool & unique. She's totally comfortable on stage, has an alternative edge & is generally fun to watch. The judges love her with good reason.
Katelyn Epperly played an instrument for the first time (piano) & gave us her interpretation of Coldplay's "The Scientist." I loved her vocal control & emotion (though she pushed the latter a little too much for TV & looked a little silly at times) but she slowed the song down too much. She was good, but could have been great with a little more pep.
Paige Miles got brave & took on a Kelly Clarkson tune. She has the voice for it & sang it well. The younger girls should be doing songs like this that represent them better. The really high notes went a little off-key, but overall, she should be safe.
Siobhan Magnus got crazy & did Aretha. I'm sorry, I know the judges loved it, but I didn't think it was the right song for her. She's a young, quirky girl & this classic soul didn't work for me. She'll probably be safe because she hit a super-high note & that will be enough to impress people. I would put her in my bottom 3.
So 2 girls go home. Hard to pick this week because there are several in my mind that could be out. My bottom 3? Siobhan Magnus, Haeley Vaughn & Didi Benami. What do you think? Let me hear your thoughts!

This week has flown by! Wow, it was supposed to be pretty laid back
after last week. This week has had the ACM nominations (Please vote
voteacm.com) and Kenny Chesney ended up walking across the alley from
The Ryman to a dive bar called Tootsie's and played an hour with Steve
Miller. Videos are on the video section of www.tonyandkris.com
What's awesome about that is that Kenny gets the history. Hank, Jones,
all the old timers used to do a show at the Ryman then walk next door
and sing a few and have some drinks. It was just cool. We had Danny
Gokey in studio, wow what a nice guy. Great positive song too with "My
Best Days are Ahead of me". Truly something I believe. This week we
have a lot of meetings and a couple of showcases to hit. Friday has
turned into a road trip to Knoxville to see Miranda and Brad. We will
try to get some video and pics of the backstage and dinner before. On
the show coming up in the days and week ahead we have 2 living legends
in studio and a BUNCH of country artist interviews. We will discuss, I
got roped into a blind date a while back (I was the only one unaware it
was happening) so we can talk "Fix up disasters", more American Idol,
OF course the Oscars. I think my director/ movie pic may be wrong. I
had went with Avitar but it seems that the Hurt Locker is gaining a lot
of speed. Bullock I think will win for Blind Side, and the actor and
supporting actor will be Bridges, and the guy from Inglorius Basterds.
Have a great day and as always please tell your friends where to find
us, call your local radio stations and tell them to run our show and
follow us on twitter and facebook. Thank you!

P.S.- A young lady (17years old) was murdered in San Diego by a sexual
predator that was released from prison. Couple of things. Thoughts
and prayers go out to the family. The other things are, most county
sheriff offices have a weblink that you can type in your address and it
will tell you the sexual predators in your area, with photo. I
encourage you to check this out as it will open your eyes to how many
are near you and make you more aware. Along those lines, we've had
safety expert after safety expert on the show and the NUMBER one thing
they always mention is to be aware. You are walking in a parking lot,
or jogging, whatever you are doing if you are on your phone, listening
to an ipod, you are not paying attention to what's going on around you
and are setting yourself up for something bad. The second tip is to
go with your gut. If your gut tells you someone talking to you or
around you is not a good thing, get out! It's sad these things happen
and the only defense really is to be prepared, aware, and as my dad
always said, if someone tries to get you to go somewhere by threatening
you, make your stand there cause if they are willing to stab or shoot
you there, what are they going to do in a private location? Nothing
good. That's it, I'm off my soapbox. Have a good day.

So the boys took the stage last night in a switcheroo caused by Crystal Bowersox having a diabetic complication that sent her to the hospital for the day.
How did they do? Overall, I thought they were pretty good, with a couple notable exceptions. Here's my 2 cents:
Mike Lynch was better than he's ever been with the James Brown tune. Loved his voice & his performance.
John Park did a John Mayer song. I like the quality of his voice, but this wasn't a stellar performance. He had some pitch issues & it was a little boring.
Casey James sang I Don't Wanna Be. Major star quality on this kid. His performance wasn't all that, but his "it" factor will keep him safe.
Alex Lambert. This young man has an awesome voice. Very unique. I'm rooting for him because he's so scared & seemingly oblivious to how good he is.
Todrick Hall made an interesting choice by singing Tina Turner. I liked the song choice, but his performance wasn't good enough. He could go home this week.
Jermaine Sellers performed Marvin Gaye's classic, "What's Going On?", & he just didn't do it justice. It lacked that spark. He might also find himself in trouble.
Alex Rodriguez is everybody's odds-on favorite to win, but he won't make it to the end if he doesn't stay true to himself. A really lackluster performance & a bad song choice.
Aaron Kelly picked an old, tired song. My Girl, by the Temptations. Do we really have to sit through this AGAIN? You're a kid! Sing a young guy's song! The judges like this guy, but I'm not a fan.
Tim Urban. What can I say? When one of the judges asks if you can act & suggests you do that instead, should you even come back or just save what's left of your pride & leave? He's safe though, because young girls (like my daughter) LOVE him. Can you say "Sanjaya?"
Lee Dewyze sang Lips Of An Angel, which is perfect for his rocker's voice (though he needs to be careful that he doesn't sound like he's trying to copy that sound). Still has some pitch issues that he needs to conquer, but better than last week.
2 guys go home this week. I'll pick 3 possibilities. Todrick Hall, Jermaine Sellers & John Park. What do you think? Am I wrong? Sound off!

Sorry it has been so long but promise you from now on that I will post at least two blogs a week. Tony and I are really going to do better at this. First some bad news, our Facebook page was removed and they sent us a note saying "You can't promote business on facebook unless it is a fan page. SOOOOOO, we hope you invite all your friends to follow us at Tony and Kris on facebook. We will try to update that a lot this week.
On another note, we have several major announcements coming with the show. VERY cool stuff. We have been at a convention called CRS and really got some cool things for the show lined up. All will be announced very soon.
Had a chance to see a lot of live performances and there is a lot of good country music on the way. We hope you buy it. A lot of artist, musicians, writers etc.. get screwed if you pirate so we really encourage you to buy it. The convention highlight for me was introducing Otis Day (from Animal House) at a toga party and seeing Bryan Adams be surprise guest at a show( HE ROCKED).
Tony and I really want to thank ALL who have helped us these first few months. Several Record labels, Artists, and other people helped us even when were trying to put this show together not knowing for sure if it was going to happen but they saw "what might be" and wanted their artist to know us and for us to know them. That being said one of those groups out of several was Sony music and they have an artist on the RCA label that we got to know and really believe in. We hope you go vote for him at www.voteacm.com and then tell your friends to vote for him. Tony and I are really going to push for him and hope he mentions us if he wins, otherwise we might have to bust out his bus windshield, wait a minute we may have done that accidently already. We are trying to get the last bit of equipment we need for our performance studio also. When that happens their will be lots of video up of artist and NEW artist that you can check out before anyone and we will link you to their music so you can buy it right there. Hope you have a great day and we will talk again this week. Hope you have a chance to listen at least a bit every morning and also follow us on twitter at tonyandkris. Bye now

What a weekend! It started off with a road trip to Memphis Friday, the band I used to manage (The Mulch Brothers) played a show Friday night. They did an awesome job, the crowd loved them!! I got back to Nashville Saturday night and my Uncle flew into town. It has been a few years since I’ve seen him so it was so nice to be able to hang out and show him around Nash Vegas! Sunday was a lazy day, ran some errands, did laundry, etc. Chris Young stopped by the studio again this morning. Be sure and check out the videos and pictures on our website as well. Man, he has got such a great voice! If you haven’t picked up his album “The Man I Want To Be” yet, please put that on your list of CD must haves. This week is going to be crazy, Nashville hosts a big country radio seminar every year and it’s happening at the end of the week. The guys are really excited to be taking part of all the festivities and I think we might be having some artists stopping by to help run the show while the guys are gone…stay tuned! Remember you can call us anytime, 877-851-1133 leave a message, even if it’s just to say hello, we’d LOVE to hear from you!

Sorry it has been a while. I'll try to do better. The show has been going FANTASTIC and are now on in Lexington and everyone is SO nice. It's awesome and there are some more surprises coming SOON.This is going to be a crazy week. Heading to Vegas to meet some friends from San Diego area. Get to hit my favorite places there, Piano Bar at Times Square and Studio 54, plus some good steak dinners. Gonna try to fit Shutter Island in also. Then when I am back, this week includes Tony and I taking the stage a few times during a TOGA party with Jake Owen, Chris Young and Chuck Wicks performing. I'm trying to get a custom sheet made that looks like a suit. LOL. The best part of the party. Otis Day and the Nights are playing, the band from the toga party in the movie Animal House. The next day, T and I are hosting some business meetings-- THAT SHOULD BE INTERESTING. We also get to see a LOT of artist perform next week as it is an industry week so we can see and hang with a lot of artist. BTW, got your tickets yet for June? The country music festival is coming here to Nashville and is PACKED with fun. We will be bringing it all to you. http://www.cmafest.com/ The Tiger thing goes down today, NOW get this. He has picked a hand full of reporters that are friends to sit so it gives the appearance of a press conference. They will not ask questions. So really it's a big show for him to read an apology. The word is Tiger is a MEAN, Vindictive control freak and that he is more angry than sorry about all of this. Well, he chose tomorrow to do his press conference exactly when a former sponsor's golf tourney is happening somewhere else. Kind of his way of taking ALL attention of that tourney. They are also saying the pic of him jogging was put out by a company that is in partnership with the PGA, so he kind of got to screw with PAPP a little as the first pic of him was supposed to be worth millions and now nothing. He and his wife both had photos taken wearing Nike gear. Nike one of the few sponsors that stood by him. Crazy how many little things make money. Read all the time that a celeb walking with a water bottle or something is paid to be caught candidly with a product from time to time. That's it for me and I'll check back in from the crazy goings on next week. See ya. Okay, we got Valentine's Day behind us! I hope you had a nice one, no matter how you spent it.
Candy & I enjoyed our 19th Valentine's Day with a really cool dinner on the Belle Meade Plantation here in Nashville. Delicious food at a really nice location. Hard to beat that.
Are you watching the Winter Olympics? I watch when Candy turns it on, but I just don't seem to have the itch to watch like I did when I was a kid. I used to love watching the bobsled, ski jump & speed skating competitions. When I was in 6th grade (the year Eric Heiden won all those medals) we used to take off our shoes & we'd "speed skate" down the school hallway. Funny how those kinds of memories stick with you. My mom was always a sucker for figure skating. She never missed it, even when it wasn't during the Olympics. Wish she was still around so I could talk to her about her favorites this year.
On the home front, we're really happy that the shots they have Candy taking for her condition seem to be working really well. She's feeling better than she has in a LONG time. She also got great news at work, as they've made her the 2nd Personal Shopper at her Anthropologie store. She's just really good with people & it's going well for her. I knew she'd knock their socks off once they saw her do her thing! Kids are all well. Lexi is enjoying her 2nd semester at the University of San Diego. Meredith is considering going out for track at school & Geoff continues to play the heck out of the drums. He also got a 92 on a math test today. I'm super proud of him, as math has always been a struggle for him.
American Idol is back & once we get the Top 24 & start those performances, look for my "expert" opinion (Ha!) here each week. I enjoy chatting about who was good & who blew it & am always ready with predictions & welcome good debates, so if you watch, make sure you come comment!
That's it for now. Gonna grab some dinner, watch Idol & hit the hay. Talk to you soon!

Happy Monday! Well, I survived “Singles Awareness Day.” I was talking to a friend of mine who actually has a boyfriend and she was saying that he told her weeks ago that he wasn’t going to get her anything for Valentine’s day because he doesn’t have the money. Ok, now here comes my relationship advice for all you guys out there…having no money is NOT an excuse. Here’s a bit of information that you might find very exciting, girls would rather you use your brain and come up with something that doesn’t cost a thing. We might get all bright-eyed when we see pretty, shiny things but honestly, a perfect gift/date for us is something along the lines of a couple PB&J sandwiches, a blanket and hanging out by a lake, or in a park or something. It’s just that simple…some quality time, not a lot of fuss. Moving on, Martina McBride visited us in the studio today. She is such a sweetheart and her new song “Wrong Baby Wrong” is really catchy, you definitely need to go out and buy her album Shine! Josh Turner will be calling into the show later this week…ahh he’s so dreamy…haha ok, ok I’m done. We added another member to the Tony & Kris family, 92.9 The Bear in Lexington, KY. THANK YOU so much for all your great welcomes and support! It’s still snowing here in Nashville…I don’t know how you guys up in Green Bay handle it!! I’m over the snow and am ready to put my flip flops on! Have a great rest of your week, and I’ll check in with you soon!

Well the Super Bowl is over and I could not be more thrilled for Drew Brees and the Saints.  It seems like yesterday, he was let go by the Chargers and the GM  kind of painted it as a "Drew left for more money" when in fact, he just wanted Rivers more.   Hope the Chargers can pull of a Super Bowl, cause the other QB's in that draft Eli Manning and Big Ben each have Super Bowl rings and now Drew has one. Lot of pressure for Rivers.  Got to spend the day hitting several super bowl party places.  It was cool and Nashville sure knows how to throw down.  Best commercial for me was the Letterman/Leno thing.  Got to see my nephew this weekend and he kills me.   He slid on the floor stood up and said "I'm just being a silly boy"  Also when asked if he needed a spankin he said "No, I'm good".  Awesome.  Tony and I are still humbled and excited about the show and have some EXCITING news about "Tony and Kris in the morning" coming in the next few days.  This week is the show as usual, boxing training, work out, back on my diet, and then a big party this weekend, thrown by the Block Agency.  Great guy  Mark that runs that place. I'll keep you posted on that, this week on the show, a Rap version of "DixieLand Delight, A BIG announcement, My mom back on the show to talk Idol and what kind of woman I need to marry, (sure Tony will have input on that too) , why I need someone that can make a suit out of a sheet, what to do when an old "friend" sends you an uncomfortable email, plus a few other surprises. Oh before I forget, Jake owen was in studio and brought Vern his dog. Awesome dog. Anyhow, Jake said he likes the people he came up with to do well.  Thought that was classy and he mentioned the cd's from "Lady A, and Chris Young.  Both GREAT, hope you get those along with Jakes today. Talk to you more later this week.

I know I’ve asked it before, but really, where does the time go?? So lets see…we had a great week on the show. Clay Walker stopped by earlier this week…he is blast to hang out with. So passionate about the music. Download his latest single “She Won’t Be Lonely Long” on iTunes! Jake Owen also stopped by today with his puppy Vern(so cute!!). Some of his hits, “Startin’ With Me”, “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You” and his latest single “Eight Second Ride” can all be found on his albums “Startin’ With Me” and “Easy Does It”. Do yourself a favor and when you’re out running errands this weekend, stop into a store and grab a copy of one his CDs, I promise you won’t be disappointed! You guys have really been stepping up and calling in and letting us know you’re listening. We can’t tell you how much it means for us to have you all call in. Even if it’s just to say hello, good morning, I’m excited for the weekend, whatever is on your mind, we LOVE to hear from you. 877-851-1133…program it into your phone and call us ANYTIME…yes, ANYTIME! Even when we’re not on the air you can call that number and get our voicemail(voicemail recorded by yours truly) and we will be happy to listen and possibly play back any song requests, hellos, comments, concerns, etc. Out with the girls for a fun night on the town? Hanging out with the boys, watching the big game? CALL US! Which brings me to my next thought…who you rooting for in the Super Bowl? I gotta go with the Saints, Drew Brees used to play for the Chargers and they’re my team sooo the Saints are my pick. Also, be sure and call us too and let us know what you think of the commercials during the game. We’ll try and post as many of YOUR suggestions on our website www.tonyandkris.com on Monday! Have a FANTASTIC weekend!!

The snow hit here in Nashville pretty hard this weekend. Lots of people have said it's the worst that they have seen here. I was invited to go on the Road with Chuck Wicks for a night so I thought, great way to get out of here and also have some fun. Chuck is putting the finishing touches on a new album, has a new band and is really pumped about the coming year. How artist and bands do it, I'll never get. Being confined on a bus for HOURS at a time, not knowing where you are, and your bunk is just that a bunk with 3 feet of space before the next bunk. It's crazy. It was fun though and Chuck did a great job at his show. Ever have something you have always said you wanted to do and finally got around to it? I am a HUGE Rocky fan. Rocky 2 being the best, Rocky 1 a close second and Rocky Balboa is awesome as well. I was in Philly and got to run the steps, and got my picture taken. It was kind of cool, knowing that when I was 6 that I started saying I wanted to do that. If you have not seen those movies, I suggest you check em out. Great motivation to keep trying and never give up. They are also great "Chick flicks". If you have a date night, pick that movie and she will be happy, you get a great boxing movie, everybody wins. Think this weekend, I get to go home to see my nephew and family. Excited about that.

Quick Survey then I am out today.
1. What was the last song you played on your ipod? Kings Of Leon "Notion"
2. What was the last thing you watched on TV? Chelsea Lately
3. What tv show are you embarrassed to say you like? Not sure
4. What song are you embarrassed to say you like? Sweet Dreams by Beyonce 5. Who was the last person you texted? Mark Block Agency
6. Who was the last person that texted you? K.G.
7. What is the last movie you saw at the theatre? Blind Side
8. What movie do you want to see that's out right now? Edge of Darkness
9. When is the last time you worked out? Yesterday
10. When is the next time you will work out? today

As usual, I'm sporadic with my blogs. Sorry. I'm like the absent-minded professor, without the "professor" part.
We had the pleasure of having Lexi home for several weeks during her winter break between semesters at the Univerity of San Diego. I still have a hard time believing we have an 18-year-old in college. Some exciting news - While she was here she expressed an interest in perhaps transferring to a school closer to us. I cannot begin to say how excited that makes us. My only concern that I shared with her was that if she does it, it's for the right reason. I don't want her to go to a school she won't enjoy simply to be closer to her family. She assured us it was because she wants a bigger school experience. USD is amazing & beautiful, but it isn't huge. Candy took her to the University of Tennessee for a look around & she seemed to really like it. We'll see.
On the negative side, Candy was officially diagnosed with Psoriatic Spondylo Arthropathy. It's an arthritic condition that has caused her a great deal of pain & sickness. We were struggling with the first type of medicine they prescribed, but they have her taking shots now with a new medicine that seems to be working much better. It's frustrating & sad to have a beautiful, young wife who is suffering like this. Hopefully, the new meds will get it under control and she can go back to living like she wants.
Geoffrey & Meredith are doing well in school. I'm especially proud of Geoff, who had many struggles before we left California. He's really brought up his grades & gotten it together. I hope he can keep it up!
The show is really coming along. I'm SO glad we were able to do a small-scale launch like we wanted. It's been great to have a few months to dust off the cobwebs before we "go big."
I'm excited that American Idol is back on. There's just something about that show that makes me feel good. I still love it, even after all these years & the fact that they really haven't changed much (not that they need to). Looking forward to the Heroes vs. Villains Survivor, too.
I guess that's it for now. I'll try to check in sooner rather than later next time!

Hey there, it's me again (Kris) with nothing specific to say. Saints 38 Colts 35.... There is my prediction/hope for the SuperBowl. You know that Chevy Chase is going to be playing Clark Griswald in "Vacation" commercial during the game. That should be funny... I hope. You know I want to take a sec and thank all of you back in San Diego that still call our show even though we are not on there yet. We hope to be in the near future. You know, I was talking to Tony today about how boring I think I am, so I really write lame blogs. I'm trying to do better. Think it affects my relationships too. After talking for four hours on air, I usually don't have anything to say. I read other peoples blogs and I'm like "wow, they are so deep and really have great thoughts". I'm trying to be more open about that. Just watched YES MAN the past couple a days, a little at a time. I liked it, the part where they just went to the airport and said we want to get on the next flight wherever it is. They took a weekend vacation in Nebraksa, LOL. Love that kind of crazy fun. They also, found the best things to do there. I just thought it was cool, going to do that someday. Still have not seen Avitar, I just don't care to. Everybody says I should though. Book Of Eli looks good, but everytime I go to the movie here it is sold out. Everybody must live at the movie theatre in Nashville. Negative things about Nashville. Liquor Store Closed on Sundays, and NO good Mexican food places. Poz things about Nashville, too MANY to mention. There is a place if I stay in town this weekend I want to hit. It's called Mercy Lounge. Really neat place but this 70's Groove Band is playing and they are very cool. The show continues to grow everyday. It took us a while to get back into our groove but it's starting to click now. We have had a lot of artist on already. Lady A., Lee Ann Womack, Tracy Byrd, James Otto, Trace Adkins, Darius Rucker, Eric Church, JMC, Eddie Montegomery, Luke Bryan, Chris Young, Danny Gokey, Little Big Town, David Nail, Blake Shelton (check out his video in our Vid section of the website) and others scheduled to be in soon! It's been fun so far and only getting better. Hope you all have a great night!

Hope you are doing well! Went out last night for the first time in a few weeks. It was with an artist and that always weirds me out. I feel for them. Every bar we walked into, people just stare, you see people come up with lame excuses to just ask for a picture and there is always that one person that hangs on and just won't move on. My diet, is still going pretty good, and I'm working out really hard still. Think by summer I may be in the best shape I've been in for years. Excited about that. I was starting to get "You like that guy from Rascal Flatts" instead of what I used to get of "you look like Dane Cook" HA. Now it's getting back to the Dane. We are looking to beef up our website. Know any good webmasters that are affordable? Tony and I just have so much on our plate right now that we have not been able to make it what we want. We also, are looking for promo materials with our name on them. (like our magnets) If you know any national company folks that want to go in with us, have them email us. It's weird but fun starting our own company. Just a lot of work. Not complaining at all about that. Feel bad for so many people right now that don't even have a job. Watched Conan's fairwell. Classy way to go. NBC is going to lose in this entire deal. Jay is damaged and Conan will end up somewhere and that will split the late night pie into another piece. It's a shame when corp people panic ( I know times are tough, but when they look short term). You know it's funny and I've said this before, how much we have in common on a smaller scale with Conan. We moved to San Diego, from Alabama when Conan, was getting started on Late Night. Then when we had to move to the new station and then the PD former morning host, manipulated things and just really sand bagged the station to get himself back on. Now he got fired, that station is a non factor and Tony and I are working on our dream of national syndication. Now Conan got that from Jay. I really appreciated what Conan said last night. "Be kind and work hard, amazing things will happen". I believe that. Lee Ann called T and I to talk about the George and Reba tour. It's gonna be cool. We should be doing the show from the tour sometime in the next coming months. BTW, we are going to start listing some upcoming show topics in our blogs, we have an answering machine for when we are not on the air, and if you want to participate in the show you can. We have asked before but please tell your friends where to find us and read our blogs and be a part of the show. Even if you can't hear it right now (San Diego) that's gonna change soon. Have a great day.

Kris here. Have not checked in on a regular basis at all this year and that is about to change. I promise. Tony and I are going to do better at least checking in once week on here and we will have a blog also once a week that's a recap of the show. Starting back to my boxing next week. Excited about that. My life has pretty much been, work, home, nap, gym, home, bed the past few weeks. Boring I know. Season finale of "Jersey Shore" and everybody loves it. I checked it out this morning and was sick to my stomach after watching it. Awful. People can't be that shallow. Had my mom on the air a few times this week, she's always so funny. Had a meeting and our "consultants" want us to share more of our life, I just have not had much of one lately. LOL. That's gonna change. My diet this year has been really good. Excited about that. I've pretty much changed from my days of a "Breakfast Burrito" or "Quesadilla" for my first meal. Now it's pretty much fruit for breakfast, throughout the morning, lunch is usually veggies and a piece of chicken, then lunch is either the same or I treat myself. Get to vote for S.A.G. awards for this weekend since I'm a pro actor- you may remember me from classic TV series such as "Hunter", Silk Stalkings, Renegade, 18 Wheels of Justice, and Pensacola Wings of Gold. What did I vote for? The bad guy from Inglorious Basterds, The Office cast, The Hangover, got a bunch of my votes. Just did the name the 10 songs on your IPOD that come up on your shuffle. Here they are- Refugee, Melissa Etheridge- That Smell, LynyrdSkynyrd- Burning Photographs, Ryan Adams- Let me Go, Everclear- Southern Voice, Tim McGraw- Blue Oyster Cult, Burning for you, Sweet Dreams Beyonce-Whenever, wherever, Shakira- Lady A, Need You Now- Mashup, sexual healing/I can't go for that That's it for now. I'll check in later. Have a great weekend. My Wish for the Superbowl? Jets/Saints we will see what happens.

Hello! Wow, I can't believe we're already halfway through January...As soon as somebody figures out where the time goes can they let me know? The show is going great! It's really picking up. So many artists have either called in or stopped by and I can't thank the labels and management companies enough for all their help getting the artists one step closer to YOU! Speaking of having artists in studio, Lady Antebellum is stopping by tomorrow. SO EXCITED! Their first album is incredible and I can't wait for their new one to come out on the 26th! I think I mentioned in my bio that I got the opportunity to tour with a local band out of Nashville last year...well, even though I'm not on the road with them anymore, I still love to check out their shows when they're in town. I went to one yesterday and as I'm sitting there I couldn't help but think about how proud of them I am. Like most bands struggling to make it big, these guys have worked their butts off and seeing them on stage having a great 'ol time, sounding awesome and then seeing the crowd react so positively...it just gives me chills everytime. Haha if you're curious about the guys I'm talking about and are maybe looking for some great new music coming out of Nashville they're called The Mulch Brothers. You can find them on myspace, facebook (they're friends with Tony & Kris) and iTunes. Look 'em up...let me know what you think! Well, I think that about covers it for now. I'm trying to move on from my Chargers losing yesterday and look forward towards baseball season. Go Padres! Hope eveybody is sticking to their new years resolutions, talk to you soon!! 877-851-1133

Hi everybody, It's Kris and am sorry for not doing more blogs. Here's what all is going on. The show is still growing and we will be announcing some exciting, planned growth soon! Can't wait until we are back on the west coast too so that we can hear from you all on the show. This week is a big week for Tony and I as we are going to pay a visit to a special hospital in Memphis. We have not been able to go there for a few years so we are very excited. It's been cold here, actually had a little snow. Everyone says it is unusually cold this year but I like it. Just excited to be back in the south and near so many of my friends. THE ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE are CHAMPS! Wow, it's so awesome. Everybody is now walking around going, what do we do now. I'll tell you- we win another one! The Late night thing has gone nuts, NBC has screwed it all up again and I'll tell you how. They worry about defensive strategy too much instead of just doing what is the best product for the network. Years ago, everyone knew Dave was groomed by Carson to take over the Tonight show. Jay had guest hosted one night a week for a while. The network instead of sticking to their word and giving Dave the Tonight show, panicked that Jay might go start a competing show. They give the Tonight Show To Jay and then try to keep Dave on late night. We know how that worked out for them. NOW, a few years ago, Conan gets an offer, NBC panics signs him to a big deal and promises him the Tonight Show. 5 years later, They Force Jay out, then Jay says "I'll go to another network and do my show there" NBC panics again and gives him a show during primetime that does not work and hurts the ratings even later. Now in a knee jerk reaction, they put Jay back on later so it's either gonna be him on the Tonight Show or Conan and odds are Conan Bolts to another Network. Which Splinters the late night wars with another piece of the pie now. Had NBC all those years ago, stuck to their words, who knows how TV would be today. Wow, what a vent from me. LOL. I'm just a believer in "DO YOUR BEST, don't worry about what the Comp is or might be doing" NBC does work that way as we can tell. That's it for right now. I'll write early next week about the TV season, working out, dieting and what else is going on around here.
See Ya

We are into the new year. Tony and I could not be more excited. It was a super tough time to get our business started, but it's going well. Another of several stages of this plan happens again this month so be looking for an announcement at www.tonyandkris.com soon. Just a little business side of this, a lot of people think we work for Cumulus Radio. Tony and I have a partnership with them, but own our show and can be on a radio station from any company. It's really cool. Along those lines though, working with Cumulus has been a dream. They are really good people that know their stuff and have "big Picture" mindsets. Love it. Look forward to being on many more stations soon. Everyone has been real supportive. A few people here and there don't like the "syndication" word but as most businesses, times are changing and if you are not moving toward the future you are in trouble. That goes for any business not just radio. I mean, two years ago you could not listen to ANY radio station on your phone but now you can. Lot's of changes still to come too. We want to be the leaders of new concepts with radio.
New Year's Eve (NAME DROP-ALERT) was fun. Hate mentioning this stuff but usually I don't get too excited about things. Tony, Candy and I were invited to Lee Ann Womack's for a party. I'd say about 30 people were there and Ronnie Dunn was there. We ended up in a room and just watched football and chatted for about half an hour. Just us two, It was weird, cause I don't really know him and thinking how many people drive miles, camp out, and pay big bucks to meet him and here we are joking around and talking about everything under the sun. He did end up singing with Lee Ann a bit and you can see it at Lawsocialclub.com
One other thing, my friend Frank who is a producer is so funny but he has a million stories of how people got ideas for songs. The one he told me last night, a guy he knows had a dog that as a puppy got hit in the eye with a rock. It turned his eye blue. THUS the idea for "Don't it make my Brown Eyes Blue" Crazy, I love that stuff.
Want to say thank you again for all you TK1s who stuck with us and we hope you tell your friends where to find us, let your local radio station know about that you want to hear us and all that stuff. Have a great day and make this year a great one.

Had a chance to get away for a few days. It was nice. Saw the Blindside and have to say it is a great movie! Think if you have kids it's a movie you will want to take them to. This guy had nothing, and when given the opportunity he took advantage. How many kids these days don't appreciate what they have. Adults for that matter too. Tim McGraw and Sandra Bullock did a great job. During the movie though, I am amazed at the rudeness of people these days. A man two rows behind me started a full on regular voice conversation on his cell phone twice, when he was shushed he looked annoyed at everyone. Trying to think of a good wager for Jack Ingram, T Byrd, and Chris Young since they are big Texas Longhorns fans and I am a big Bama fan. Had a lady tell me she was not a country fan the other day. Said she hates it. This always cracks me up. First, there is no law that you have to tell me when you don't like country but after I talked to her a few minutes she did what people usually do when they start like that. She listed about 5 artist that she likes and knew most of their stuff. LOL. As we get closer to the end of the year, I want to make sure your country library is up to date with stuff you need to get. If you get an itunes card, I suggest these artist and songs

Lady A-Need you Now, Run to you
David Nail- Red light
Jack Ingram-Barefoot and Crazy, Seeing Stars
Zac Brown- Jolene, Chicken Fried, Toes, Whatever it is
Darius Rucker- History in the making, alright
George Strait--twang, river of love
Lee Ann Womack--there is a god, new again
Chris Young--Voices, The Man I want to be, Gettin you home(black dress), Rainy night in Ga.
Jake Owen-- 8 second ride, Don't think I can't love you
Tim McGraw- Southern Voice

Tony-Finally!

I'm SO sorry I've been MIA on the Blog front. It has been such a crazy time getting the show launched & getting back into the old schedule. I have a few moments today, so I'll throw a few things out.
The show is going great. If you've ever gone over a year without employment (& at this point in America I know far too many have) you can understand the fear & pain that goes with it. When we finally escaped the dungeons of the old gig, we figured it would be a few months before we were on our way. Who knew it would be FOURTEEN! Anyway, we're clawing our way back on the personal/financial front & professionally it was like we never were off at all. One of the joys of working with one of your best friends is sharing a dream. Now we're living it. Our plan of starting small seems to be working well & by the time we get in bed with a syndicator the show should be ready to go big on a bunch of stations. We're keeping our fingers crossed that it will get to your neck of the woods soon.
Personally, I'm just counting the days until Lexi, our now 18 year-old, gets home for Christmas break in a few days. I can't believe I haven't hugged her since August. I knew it would be a challenge to be so far away but this is ridiculous. Luckily, we live in a wonderful technological age & we're able to talk & see each other with Skype. Candy is doing well, though still struggling with the pain of Psoriatic Spondylo Arthropathy. It's an arthritic-type disease that really causes her a lot of discomfort. They have her on a cocktail of meds right now trying to figure out the best combo to provide relief & remission. Hopefully that will find its way here soon. Geoffrey & Meredith are doing well. School is going WAY better for him this year than last. I'm proud of both of them.
I guess I've rambled enough for now. Just wanted to catch up a bit since I haven't blogged in so long. Thanks for all the kind words of support. We really appreciate it!

So sorry that the blogs have been few and far between. It's been real busy getting this show launched, but can tell you some exciting things are in the works for the first of the year. Those of you on the west coast will also be excited very soon. This past weekend was a lot of fun as I hit Nashville pretty hard, went and hung out with my folks and played with the worlds coolest nephew. Back at it this week. Have meetings today (including a TV producer) who wants to chat with us about some reality projects. Gonna name drop here, had dinner last night with Jake Owen and he is a cool guy that is about to EXPLODE. Get his stuff, download 8 second ride today! You will like it. My personal favorite of his is "Ghosts". He'll be on the show soon! It's Wed. already and I'm going out of town this weekend again, so I'm trying to pack in as much as possible this weekend. Getting set with my boxing instructor for the first of the year, and a nutritionist. My goal is to be in the best shape of my life by summer. We will see how that goes, with trips to San Diego, Vegas, Gulf Shores, all in the future. It'll be tough. LOL. Check in with ya soon.

Kris - Hi there!
12/8/2009
For those of you new to the show. I'm Kris, 38, divorced, and not good at spelling or grammar. I've been excited about the Alabama Crimson Tide going to the National Championship. I might have to make a bet with JB out in Beaumont if he is pulling for Texas. Just saw "Men of A certain age". Really liked it and related to it as I sneak up on 40. Have had some good shows already this week, Jason Aldean has called in, Phil Vassar stopped by and you all have been so good about calling in and taking part in the show. 877-851-1133. This Tiger thing is out of control. He can't come out and just say "here's everything I've done, I'm sorry" cause he probably does not know everyone he has been with and people will just keep digging. I can't see his marriage surviving but anything is possible I guess. Southern Voice by Tim McGraw keeps growing on me. What a great song. Catchy as all get out. We are having so many meetings and working so much right now it's kind of hard to have a life but that is coming soon. I hope. LOL. Still have not seen the blindside, really want to though, that Up in the air and Sherlock Holmes all look really good. I know this is a quick blog, just trying to get back in the habit. Please do us a favor since we really don't have an advertising budget. Tell your friends to listen to us and check us out online often. www.tonyandkris.com Thanks and have a great night.

Heather - BIG thanks!

Well, we're still here!! who woulda thought? haha, the guys have been doing great, getting back into the swing of things and having fun along the way. We've only been on the air for a couple weeks and so far we've had a ton of country stars on the show! BIG thank you to Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, Trace Adkins, Eddie Montgomery, Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Lady Antebellum, Jimmy Wayne, Jason Michael Carroll, Al Roker, Luke Bryan and some people I'm sure I'm forgetting, for taking the time out already to talk with the guys and Gretchen Wilson for letting us hang out at her ranch! Also, can't thank the record labels and management companies for putting up with my endless emails and phone calls...haha you guys have all been AMAZING but you haven't heard the last from me :)

Not sure if you heard on the air today or not but Tony's oldest daughter turns 18 today. Happy birthday Lexi (my dad's birthday was yesterday so a big happy birthday to him as well)!! It got me thinking though as he was mentioning he hasn't seen his daughter in person since August, I haven't seen anyone in my family in a year! I leave for California in 18 days...I'm so excited!!! It's all I can think about...I need to go home and soak up some much needed family time and food...

Ok, I think I'm done blabbing for today. Before I go, I have to say a sincere thank you for listening and supporting the show. It means the world to the guys that they have such great support for pursuing their dreams. Please keep in touch, let us know what you like and don't like. Our phone number 877-851-1133 call us 24/7!

Oh yea, for all you TK1's who've been asking and a FYI to everybody else. If you want to listen to the show you can from anywhere in the country! You don't have to be in one of the six cities we're syndicated in. Just go to www.tonyandkris.com and click on one of the stations listed on the right hand side of the page and you can listen live online from ANYWHERE!! 5-9am CST
=) Heather
